Country duo Joey+Rory continue to find pure joy in the most painful of circumstances facebook

She always seems to have a smile on her face and light in her eyes. She looks at her mom and dad with a pure love not often seen much anymore in this world. She looks forward to Christmas, and she rides her tricycle, and she wears fake braids in her hair — just like her mama.

Thank God for Indiana.

Indiana is Joey+Rory’s young daughter and remains a source of bliss as Joey continues to battle against the last stages of cancer. And often, dear Indiana is featured in many pictures and videos that the beloved country duo has chosen to share with us.

And in a Dec. 1 Facebook post, Indiana was once again featured looking happy and carefree, despite the circumstances surrounding her mother’s health.

On this particular day, mother and daughter wore matching pigtails – Joey wearing hers from her bed and Indiana wearing hers while riding a “second-hand tricycle” throughout Joey’s childhood home in Indiana.

So yes, thank you God for Indiana, and for hope, and for braids and bikes that, for a moment, make Joey smile again.
