This talented singer-songwriter takes an important step toward walking down the aisle Instagram/@coltonswon

It takes a lot of planning to put on a wedding of any size, and it seems inevitable that some details might fall through the cracks. But there are some important things that have to be taken care of or those nuptials just can?t happen.

Like the marriage license.

While acquiring your marriage license is a big deal and a significant step in the wedding process, we aren?t sure we?ve ever seen anyone as excited about it as Colton Swon of the Swon Brothers and his bride-to-be, Caroline Glaser.

In a photo shared on Colton?s Instagram page, the handsome singer-songwriter is beaming and his dimpled fiancée is absolutely sparkling. In her hand, she holds the couple?s newly-issued license, dated March 2. Colton writes, ?It just got real! Can?t wait to marry you @carolineglaser_ #marriage #marriagelicense #itjustgotreal #??

The couple has 30 days now to tie the knot or the license expires, which means we could be seeing wedding photos any day! And we do love a good bridal portrait.

We also love seeing how genuinely excited Colton is about his future Mrs. and their impending wedding.

Colton and Caroline were engaged in February 2017, and the handsome Oklahoma native has been over the moon to get married ever since.

In fact, he seems to be absolutely astonished that she said yes!

And it is beyond adorable because, seriously, in every picture of them together he shares his joy and disbelief.

If you didn?t know, Colton isn?t the only talent in this couple. Caroline is also a gifted singer who appears to be working on a new project with the help of her future hubs.

Maybe there?s a musical duet in their future. We hope so!
