Clay Walker has been leading the fight to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis ever since he was diagnosed with the disease in 1996. Doctors only gave him a few years to live at that time, but he has defied the odds and continues to perform his hits in concert across the country.

He’s also raising big bucks hosting and performing at his fifth annual Give MS the Boot gala in Houston. The event recently raised more than $155,000 for Clay’s Band Against MS nonprofit organization in the ongoing research and outreach efforts to fight the disease.

Clay knows firsthand how difficult it can be to live with MS.

He says, “We have launched a diligent battle to not only get answers but to [also] help find solutions for a multitude of struggles that MS patients go through on a regular basis and to support research to find a cure.”

Clay adds that he’s “personally grateful” to everyone who made his Give MS the Boot gala possible.

Looking forward to 2017, Clay will host his Band Against MS Ride to raise even more money in Humble, Texas on Saturday, March 25.
