Fan club parties are interesting gatherings, to say the least.
First off, the room is filled with people that have travelled miles after miles after miles for the chance to show support for the artist they love. And for the artist, it’s a time of pure bliss. They are playing for a crowd that is simply there to hear them.
Unconditional love some might say.
So at these fan club parties, it’s as if many of these artists feel quite comfortable to perhaps debut a new song or sing a new cover, with no thought as to being judged.
That’s just what happened in Nashville recently, as members of the Chris Young fan club convened on the Grand Ole Opry to listen to their favorite country music artist. And Young did not disappoint, pulling off an amazing cover of Allison Krauss’ huge hit “When You Say Nothing at All.”
Of course, Young also shared some of his first new music in over three years, including his sexy new hit “I’m Comin’ Over,” along with sharing with the adoring crowd that he had just put the finishing touches on his brand new album, which is said to be out later this year.
