Chris Janson still doesn’t have a boat — but thank goodness he just found a bus YouTube/Screenshot

Forget a boat, budding country music star Chris Janson is just looking for some reliable transportation these days!  “Everyone asks if I’ve gotten a boat,” Janson said in a recent press release. “For now we are thrilled to have a bus that runs!”

Apparently, the story goes like this:

Janson’s tour bus, which was carrying him and his wife and kids, broke down back in late June while they were on their way to perform at Country Fest in Wisconsin. With a performance date scheduled for the very next day and nearly 235 miles away in Minnesota, Janson was forced to rent his own car and U-haul truck and drive himself.

Soon after, Janson and the fam continued driving their rented home away from home to meet up and perform as part of the Toby Keith’s Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour presented by Ford F-series at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Detroit.

Luckily, Janson had no problem making it to the Grand Ole Opry time on July 3, where he performed an enthusiastic version of his top 20 hit “Buy Me a Boat” for a packed crowd. Believe it or not, Janson has already performed at the Grand Ole Opry more than one hundred times in his young career.
