It’s been a long year, so it’s no wonder that Luke Bryan might be going a little stir crazy at this point.
Or at least, he looks like he might be going a little stir crazy.
In an interview for the “CMA Country Christmas” show airing Nov. 27 on ABC, Luke was asked a series of rapid-fire questions perfect for the holiday season. From, “How early can you listen to Christmas music?” (His response: “No such thing”) to “favorite Christmas clothes” (“Christmas sweater,”) Luke was quick to answer most of the questions.
Yet, one question seemed to intrigue him the most.
When asked about his favorite Christmas candy, he shot the camera a puzzled look, then answered “divinity.” Now, if you aren’t from the South, there is a good chance you might be slightly puzzled here. “Divinity” candy is a traditional holiday treat made from sugar, light corn syrup, egg whites and vanilla extract, and sometimes, maybe even some pecans for good measure.
Of course, everyone here at Rare Country knows what Luke would love for the holidays – some new Rare Country Awards! You can help him out with that. Luke is nominated for “Fan Moment of the Year,” “Tour of the Year” and “Male Artist of the Year” in the Rare Country Awards, and it’s up to you to decide the winners. Vote now through Dec. 13 at RareCountryAwards.com. Winners will be revealed during a livestreamed concert event on Dec. 14 in Nashville.
