Miley Cyrus received an unexpected gift during a recent trip to Nashville.

The 24-year-old superstar’s mom, Tish, and sister, Brandi, surprised her with a new loft on the finale edition of Bravo’s interior design show, “Cyrus vs Cyrus: Design and Conquer.”

The episode, which aired on June 29, was fittingly titled, “Family Is Everything” because the show’s co-stars, Tish and Brandi, worked together to transform the old, dilapidated barn on the family’s Nashville-area property into a personal space for Miley.

Tish and Brandi — both interior designers — put in all the hard work to make the surprise go off without a hitch. But it was Billy Ray Cyrus, who came up with the genius idea to renovate the barn in the Cyrus’ backyard. His reason for the gift is to hopefully entice his Malibu-based daughter to visit home more often, as she was previously the only Cyrus without a place in Nashville.

With a budget of $165,000, the transformation took five days to complete. Personalized items, including a photo album, unicorn pillow and a painting of Miley’s old dog, Floyd, as well as furnishings such as a cactus plant, patterned rug, hanging light fixtures, a vintage-style couch and a hot pink front door all add up to complete Miley’s new nest.
