Check out Blake Shelton in this new Super Bowl commercial for “The Voice” YouTube/The Voice

The Super Bowl is undoubtedly one of the biggest events of the year. But, for some viewers, the big game isn’t nearly as exciting as the 30-second television commercials that air throughout. Remember the iconic Snickers advertisement starring the famed Betty White? And we have a feeling you haven’t forgotten the one where the kid dresses up in a Darth Vader costume and tries to forcefully start a Volkswagen with his mind.

Well, now it looks like NBC’s “The Voice” is getting in on the big-time promo competition ahead of its 14th season, as the network has now shared a glimpse of what’s to come during “Super Bowl LII.”

And, yes, this ad definitely got our attention.

In this hilarious clip, longtime “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton couldn’t appear more at home, because he and his fellow co-stars Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson, go country! The 41-year-old Oklahoma-born crooner can be seen first in the spot perched on a chair in front of a log cabin decorated with a cowboy rope and two delicious looking pies on a windowsill.

“Ain’t nothing like sittin’ on a country porch with some Labrador puppies and a Clydesdale horse,” Blake sings happily, as a handful of adorable yellow puppies suddenly pop out of a barrel. The camera then pans over to a pretty horse before Blake’s bromance buddy, Adam, shows up in the scene.

The Maroon 5 hit-maker, who sports a thick mustache for the ad, sips on a cold lemonade before Grammy-winning Alicia joins in, seated on a bale of hay. The R&B songstress provides the perfect introduction to Kelly, who shows up in a humongous meadow accompanied by a “giant crowd,” “some choir boys” and a “really, really, really, really long fabric train.”

If that’s not enough hilarity, “The Voice” host Carson Daly also makes a cameo, and hauls around a baby calf while clad in a plaid shirt and cowboy hat.

Too funny!

“We had fun. We shot that in L.A. and that baby calf peed on me,” Carson revealed, after sharing the clip on the “Today” show, where he also works. “Literally, during the take. I didn’t stop.”

Fans can tune into season 14 of “The Voice” when the show premieres Monday, Feb. 26 on NBC. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New England Patriots in “Super Bowl LII” starting at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 4 on NBC.
