Uh oh, Charlie Daniels is not happy, guys. Not happy at all.

The veteran country star has never been one to shy away from expressing his political beliefs, and the last few days have been no exception on his Twitter page. The outspoken and staunchly conservative Country Music Hall of Fame member has a bone to pick with Democrats and the liberal left.

On Jan. 30, President Donald Trump addressed the country in his inaugural State of the Union address. Among the topics discussed were domestic policies, tax cuts, the economy and the troubled bipartisan tension between the Democrats and Republicans.

Charlie has his own opinions about it all, which he shared in a series of tweets over the last several days.

Immigration continues to be a hot-button issue for both parties, and Charlie’s stance seems very clear on the matter, based on these tweets. Also clear is his desire for patriotism among our members of Congress.

And he wouldn’t mind if House minority leader Nancy Pelosi seemed a little more enthusiastic either.

He also directed his attention to the dire situation in North Korea, as well as at the FBI and State Department in his next tweets.

Whether or not you agree with Charlie’s politics, one thing that cannot be argued or questioned is his passion in the political realm and his quest to put America and Americans first. The Grand Ole Opry member is also a major advocate for veterans and their rights and well-being.

Not all of Charlie’s tweets are politically charged. He keeps it real about his everyday life and adds in a few random musings, too, which is part of the reason he is so beloved. What you see is what you get, and he is unapologetically himself.

So, what do you think? Is Charlie’s assessment of the party lines accurate?

As you ponder that, we’ll leave you with this gem of wisdom, applicable to people on either side of the aisle.

That is a sentiment we can all get behind.
