Losing so many legends already this year, it’s time to really start cherishing those icons we still have with us.

That’s why we’re checking our calendars to see which of Charley Pride’s new tour dates we can make this year. The Country Music Hall of Fame member will be singing all of his big hits, like “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'” and “Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone,” during the concerts.

Charley says in a statement, “I feel blessed that I’m still going strong after 50 years. I’ve always loved to sing for audiences and that’s never going to change. It’s been a joy to visit so many different places in the U.S. over the years. And, of course, I always enjoy traveling to Canada.”

Though he won the CMA Entertainer of the Year trophy in 1971, Charley didn’t join the Grand Ole Opry until 1993. He’ll appear on the legendary show on June 10 and 11 in Nashville.

His 2016 tour launches April 30 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Go to for a full list of dates in the U.S. and Canada.
