Carrie Underwood’s husband takes a tip from Alan Jackson in this hilarious video Instagram/@CarrieUnderwood

Now that their schedules have slowed down, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, have been enjoying some free time together outdoors.

The happily married couple, who celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary this month, spent time on a lake to beat the summer heat on July 22.

Carrie took to Instagram with video of her hockey player hubby wakeboarding. The hunky athlete, who is normally seen skating on ice, appears to be having a blast while being pulled by a boat and gliding along the water.

Interestingly enough, the moment reminded Carrie of Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee” music video, as she watched her husband take part in the watersport. So, she set the clip — which you can see above — to the music of the country legend’s 1993 hit.

Poking a little fun at her husband, she even joked, “#LakeLife. I particularly like the pigeon flap at the end. This music seemed to fit … @mfisher1212.”

By the looks of it, Carrie and Mike have been spending time together on the lake all week long. In fact, on July 21, the blonde beauty posted a photo of herself clad in a bikini from her CALIA swim line. Four days prior, Mike let his fans know that he caught a smallmouth bass while fishing on the lake.

In 2016, Carrie wrapped up her massive “Storyteller Tour.” She has since been largely taking it easy, spending time with family and working on new music. As for Mike, his contract as captain of the Nashville Predators is up, so we’re awaiting an announcement of his next move when it comes to the NHL.
