Carrie Underwood is a worldwide singing sensation and a country music powerhouse. She’s churned out a ton of hits, landed plenty of endorsement deals and holds the title as the season four winner of “American Idol.”

But besides her big-time celebrity persona, her home life is also jam packed with plenty of important roles. Not only is she a proud mother to 1-year-old Isaiah Michael Fisher, but she’s also a wife and a pretty darn good dog lover, too!

Carrie’s ability to juggle both her personal and highly publicized lifestyle may seem downright impossible to an outsider. But, according to Carrie, it’s actually not. In fact, she’s able to switch off the famous side of her world when she’s doing things like say — the dirty laundry! And, she’s warning her fans not to expect to see her all glammed out beyond the stage.

In a brand-new interview with Redbook Carrie said, “I love being onstage, but that’s different. That’s not Carrie. That’s Carrie Underwood. The rest of my life I feel like I’m incredibly disappointing to people.”

She continued, “Like if I run into someone at the grocery store, I really don’t know what to say because I don’t have a microphone in my hand or bling on. They expect me to be ‘Carrie Underwood,’ but I’m just Carrie. I’m sorry!”

Truth is, even when Carrie does give us glimpses into her down-to-earth, every day life we still get star struck. The fact that Carrie feels she needs to apologize for being “normal” makes us love her even more!
