Carrie Underwood just did her first Periscope telecast and it was as adorable as we expected YouTube/Screenshot

Carrie Underwood has done just about everything.

But she has never tried her hand at Periscope…until now.

“I don’t know what I am doing,” Underwood said as she smiled at her rapidly growing Periscope audience over the busy Labor Day weekend. “What do people do on Periscope? Probably cooler things that I am doing right now. I’m just on the bus, waiting to go on.”

Underwood was, in fact, preparing to play a Pennsylvania tour date, but spent six or so minutes on the new social media video streaming platform talking to her fans about her upcoming schedule (“we are finalizing things up now”), about her friend and fellow CMA Awards host Brad Paisley (“we have our first CMA meeting this week”) and her dear son (“I never expected to have such a happy baby.”)

She even talked about her and hubby Mike’s plans to have more kids in the future.

There is nothing like the first time, huh Carrie?

Underwood also recently announced another first, as the seven-time Grammy Award winner will become the first country music artist to participate in the Apple Music Festival live from London on Sept. 21.”Playing in the UK is always such a thrill!” shared Underwood in a recent press release. “I’m really looking forward to heading back and being a part of such an amazing lineup at this year’s Apple Music Festival. What a unique concert experience, not only for the fans at the Roundhouse, but also for fans across the globe who can stream it live!”
