Someone sounds just a tad jealous and for good reason. After weeks of back and forth social media posts, Nashville Predators hockey player and Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, just got to do something his famous wife has never done.
And it involves the legendary Garth Brooks.
The story started months ago, when Carrie shared a video on Instagram of her hubby singing a Garth tune while driving in the car. Of course, Garth soon saw the footage, and asked Mike if he might want to sing with him someday.
Garth reposted Carrie’s video with a caption of his own. “Bro, that is AWESOME! I HAVE to call you out after that…Nashville is the last city on the American leg of the World Tour…You and me, on stage, The River. You in? love you pal, g”
And that someday happened April 6, when Garth and Mike shared what looked to be a backstage video of the two of them singing “The River” together, leaving Carrie to exclaim on her social media pages, “How is it that my hubby, Mike gets to sing with THE Garth Brooks before I do? As payback, I think I’ll try to see if Wayne Gretzky wants to play a pick up hockey game sometime!”
This story sounds like it’s just starting.
