Carrie Underwood gives a first look at hubby Mike Fisher’s post-retirement life Instagram/@CarrieUnderwood

Less than a week after Mike Fisher announced he is retiring from his career as an NHL player for the Nashville Predators, we’re getting our first look at what his post-hockey life looks like. Carrie Underwood just posted this photograph of Mike surrounded by children at the Danita’s Children center in Haiti.

Carrie’s caption reads, “Retirement looks good on ya’ @mfisher1212.”

Mike first posted the photo on his own Instagram account, and gave more insight into his trip.

He says, “Amazing few days @danitaschildren hanging out [with] some awesome kids! This place is a children’s facility with housing, food program, school, church and a great hospital. If you’re looking for a place to invest in kids and make a huge difference, this is it!”

We have a feeling this is just the beginning of Mike’s humanitarian work now that he’s hung up his hockey skates. Carrie is heavily involed in charitable work as part of her music career, so the sky is truly the limit for these two when it comes to making a positive impact on the world.
