Carrie Underwood is undoubtedly one of the most beloved female stars in country music. So, it’s always a joy to see what she’s been up to even when she’s away from the spotlight.

After staying quiet on her personal social media pages in recent days and nursing her broken wrist from a fall last month, the “Smoke Break” singer has finally decided to give fans a glimpse into her life at home over the holidays.

In an Instagram post on Dec. 27, Carrie made it clear that despite her recent wrist injury and surgery, she’s still out and about. And, she knows just how to keep warm during these brisk winter weather months.

“When in 5 degree weather, wrap your @caliabycarrie scarf around your neck and face…you keep warm AND look like an awesome winter snow ninja! #WinWin #StayThePath #LetItSnow#BabyItsColdOutside ❄️ ⛄️,” Carrie wrote, alongside a photo that shows her covering her face with a scarf from her athleisure collection, Calia by Carrie Underwood.

In the shot, Carrie really looks like a gorgeous ice queen. She only lets her eyes show, as she flaunts perfectly applied eye shadow, mascara and eyeliner!

And it turns out that Carrie isn’t the only member of the Fisher family keeping warm this holiday season. The 34-year-old wife of former Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher and mom of 2-year-old Isaiah Michael Fisher, posted a second photo to the Twitter that she created for her two dogs, Ace and Penny.

The adorable photo, which you can see above, features her two four-legged friends snuggling up by a cozy fireplace. The shot also shows some of the amazing decorations that the Fishers used to make their home look festive for the holidays, including a Christmas tree, two wooden reindeer ornaments and wrapped gifts.

“Wishing you a warm and happy holiday season!” the tweet reads.

As fans may know, Carrie took some time away from the road in 2017. She did co-host the 2017 CMA Awards back in November with Brad Paisley, and she also made some stage appearances, including her 100th appearance at the Grand Ole Opry. But her most recent tour, “The Storyteller Tour,” ended in November 2016. So, come the new year, it will be amazing to see what she has planned!
