Carrie Underwood is one of those people.

In fact, fan’s adoration of Carrie can be seen at each and every one of her concerts and each and every one of her performances. And it’s this adoration that resulted in Carrie leading the way when it comes to nominations for the inaugural Rare Country Awards. Carrie is currently nominated for “Female Artist of the Year,” “Grand Ole Opry Moment of the Year,” “Tour of the Year” and “Story of the Year.”

From the time that she shocked us fans with a fiery duet alongside country hotshot Sam Hunt at the 2016 Grammy Awards to the time she delighted those same fans with her “The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round” with special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers, Carrie has cemented her place as one of 2016’s finest.

Of course, Carrie’s fans still have some work to do.

Voting for the Rare Country Awards is currently underway at, with winners to be announced on Thursday, Dec. 15.
