While the rumors surrounding Carrie Underwood’s upcoming Grammy performance had us on the edge of our seats, we tried to not get too excited about the possibility of the hot blonde singing with the just-as-hot country star Sam Hunt.

Well, it’s time to get excited.

Via an Instagram post on Jan. 27, Carrie finally confirmed that she will indeed collaborate with Sam during the Feb. 15 telecast of the Grammys, with many assuming that they will do Carrie’s latest single “Heartbeat” together onstage. As you may recall, Sam sings backup vocals on Carrie’s latest hit.

So excited to be heading back to @TheGRAMMYs stage! And with the amazingly talented @SamHuntMusic #GRAMMYs

The performance will add yet another memorable moment to the award show that always has its share of shining moments. Not only will the show include a performance from country group Little Big Town, but the list of country music award nominees are also a long one.

Besides nominees such as Sam, Carrie and LBT, country artists up for one of the biggest awards of their careers include artists Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Ashley Monroe, Lee Ann Womack, Tim McGraw, Brandy Clark, Brothers Osborne, Charles Kelley, Blake Shelton and Joey+Rory.
