In case you haven’t already noticed, Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller Tour is chock-full of surprises. With a set list that includes a bunch of No. 1 hits, a giant 360-degree stage, and a battle between two harmonicas (one being hers,) you’d think that she wouldn’t have any other tricks up her sleeve.

But she does.

At a recent concert in Pittsburgh, Carrie began singing a song that was easily recognizable to the crowd, but it wasn’t hers. It was Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s “Fishin’ in the Dark.”

In the video, Carrie tells audience members, “It feels so good to be with you,” before inviting tour buddies Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers up to the stage. Before you know it, the four friends are singing together in beautiful harmony. They actually make a pretty impressive quartet, and it looks like they’re having fun, too. So much so that we can’t help but want to sing along with them.

“Fishin’ in the Dark” joins Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” as just two of the covers that Carrie plays during the tour. Her next stops on the East Coast include Boston and Washington, D.C., before she takes the trek overseas.
