There comes a time in the life of every couple in which you look directly toward the future. Sometimes that means deciding on what jobs to take, where to live, or how many adorable children you want to bring into this crazy world.

But sometimes, it also means looking for that “forever home.” The one that will take you into the remainder of your life – the one with the stairs that your children will walk down on their wedding day and the one with the porch that you will rock on as another day draws to a close.

For Carrie Underwood and hubby Mike Fisher, it looks like that time is now, as Carrie recently opened up about their plans for their forever home.

“My husband, Mike [Fisher], and I are designing our ‘forever’ home,” she says in the June 2016 issue of “Country Living Magazine.” “My must-haves are a wood-burning fireplace, a porch swing and rocking chairs.”

Indeed, amongst all the time out on the road for both Mike and Carrie, home deserves to be perfect for these two, along with their son, Isaiah, and two other special friends. “I have two dogs — Ace and Penny Jean — but I constantly consider renaming them Bad and Worse,” she jokes. “I can’t imagine life without them, though.”
