January is a tough month. Besides flu activity being at its peak, it’s a time of year when depression sets in, and when people try to focus on bettering themselves. Not only that, but the weather in January also isn’t great, unless you happen to enjoy the bitter cold, or live in a warmer climate.

With that said, you can probably imagine how difficult the month of January must be on new moms, who are trying to get the most out of their baby’s early weeks. After all, a new mother may have difficulties putting her baby in a stroller and going for a walk outdoors when the temperatures are low. Moms can also have a heightened sense of fear in the winter when it comes to traveling on the road with an infant on board.

So, staying in the house might feel like the best option when it comes to caring for a newborn.

However, staying indoors might also make mommys feel isolated and cooped up. Such is the case for country superstar Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany.

The first-time mama, who gave birth to the couple’s sweet baby boy, Memphis on Dec. 1, 2017, took to Instagram on Jan. 23 with news that she is trying to battle the winter blues.

“Pleaseeeeeee🙌🏼😫 I am not about this hermit life! Having a baby in the winter is tough!! #cabinfever Hurry up Spring!!☀️🌺👙🏖,” she captioned, alongside a note that also revealed she was “In desperate need of a full body massage, four days of sleep and a trip to the Bahamas.”

It’s understandable that Brittany is facing a few struggles now that she’s adjusting to her new norm during such a chilly time of year. But fans made sure to point out that she’s not alone.

One fan wrote, “@brittanyaldean I know the feeling. Warm sunshine please hurry up.”

“I’m with you on that! My son was born on December 27th! I don’t like being indoors all day everyday either 😫 #wheresthesunshine ☀️☀️☀️,” another person added.

A third follower commented, “I struggled so much when I had my baby in November! It was hard to not to go stir crazy! Warm weather is the best thing ☀️☀️.”

We feel ya, Brittany, and so do the fans! Hang in there!
