Before he tied the knot with his wife, Amber, Brantley Gilbert was not a big fan of the holiday season. In fact, he hardly put up any decorations around his house in Georgia.
That’s all changed now that he’s a married man. Amber is something of a Christmas fanatic.
“This is definitely my wife’s favorite time of year,” Brantley says.
To extend the holiday, Amber starts decorating before Thanksgiving and won’t take the Christmas tree down until after the New Year.
Brantley adds, “There’s always Christmas music in the house. Christmas has never really been one of my favorite times of year until she came along, but she’s made it awesome, and I’m sure this year will be a good one.”
There’s no word on whether or not Amber is pushing for Brantley to write her a Christmas song, but we have a feeling she’s put in that request a time or two already.
As for Brantley, he’s currently climbing the country chart with his latest single, “The Weekend.” It’s the lead release from his upcoming album, “The Devil Don’t Sleep,” due out early next year.
Look for Brantley to launch The Devil Don’t Sleep Tour coming up Feb. 2 in Pennsylvania with special guests Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs.
