Brad Paisley is about to open for one of the biggest names in rock and roll history — again

Everyone may be shocked at who Brad Paisley is about to open for, except Brad Paisley.

The country superstar recently announced plans to perform again with legendary rock group The Rolling Stones. Just two years ago, Paisley was a frequent special guest on The Rolling Stones tour.

“(The Rolling Stones) are a great country band,” Paisley said in a 2013 interview. “And ‘Dead Flowers’ is completely the structure of a country song.”

This summer, Paisley will appear as the opener at The Rolling Stones Nashville ZIP CODE tour stop on June 17 at LP Field. The ZIP CODE tour is the first time The Rolling Stones’ foursome of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood has played North American stadiums since 2007.

Featuring openers such as Justin Moore and Mickey Guyton, Paisley himself is currently crushing his own Crushin’ It tour, which kicked off last weekend and had the country music artist playing for more than 50,000 fans over the weekend.
