Blake Shelton’s video message to Adam Levine is the funniest thing you’ll see today Facebook/@blakeshelton

The Blake Shelton/Adam Levine bromance truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

By now you’ve heard that Blake was just named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2017, a title his BFF Adam held first, back in 2013.

So naturally, the obvious thing for Blake to do was make a video and rub it in Adam’s face using only the best insults he could muster.

Hey Adam Levine… #donthatemebecauseimbeautiful

You see, during Adam’s “Sexiest Man” reign, “People were crazy about the Harlem shake. Justin Bieber’s monkey was confiscated. And someone actually thought you were sexy,” according to Blake.

“But now let me say. To me, you are NOT perfect. And I’m the sexy one now,” he added.

Did you catch that little nod to the 2003 romantic comedy classic “Love Actually” where the guy stands outside Keira Knightley’s door and declares his love for her via messages written on posterboard?

Blake’s version isn’t romantic, but it’s absolutely hysterical.

Now, now boys, we think you are both equally sexy.

Believe it or not, some folks on Twitter are not so happy that Blake won this year’s title.

Don’t worry about Blake, though, he is Teflon to haters and not about to let them rain on his parade if these ridiculously funny tweets are any indication.

We’ll give you the highlights of his amazing hashtag, “Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Beautiful,” including his response to a congratulatory tweet from former “Sexiest Man Alive” Hugh Jackman.

And Blake’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, weighed in on People’s pick too.

Samantha Stephens absolutely lives for music. When she's not making it, she's talking or writing about it. She's worked in all arenas of the country music world for nearly a decade, from syndicated radio and television to print journalism. She's even been known to crash a red carpet or two, true story.
