As the media world continues to find ways to blend advertising with entertainment, “The Voice” recently put out a video in collaboration with Nissan called “A Day in the Life of Blake.”
In the video, fellow “The Voice” coach Adam Levine takes three fans around Los Angeles to show them what a day is like in the life of the country music star, from visiting a store to picking up some hats and boots (“if you are a country music star, you have to dress the part’”) to tailgating at a gas station for lunch (“can you pass the doughnuts?”).
Yet, things got interesting when Adam is shown taking a call from “Mama Shelton,” where she spoke of Blake as a baby. “Well, I think I might have dropped him several times, but he’s still a sweet boy,” she said as the fans laughed. “I think y’all should try to be nicer to each other.”
And then she had one more message she wanted Adam to deliver to her son. “Tell him to please hurry and have some babies.”
You hear that Blake?
Of course, a day in the life of Blake would not be complete without an actual visit from Blake himself, who stuck around to take pictures with the fans after quite the eventful day.
