Blake Shelton just went on a Tim Tebow Twitter rant that was downright awesome

Thank God someone introduced Blake Shelton to Twitter. Because whenever Blake gets bored, he finds his way to Twitter and trust us — any subject is fair game.

Literally.

For whatever reason, on a random Thursday in January with no NFL games going on, Shelton took to Twitter to talk about a a game that originally aired four years ago and to defend of all people Tim Tebow.

“Just saw the 2011 playoff game with the Steelers and Broncos. Can someone give me a good reason Tim Tebow isn’t playing in the NFL?!”

The best part of this was the thousands of responses and conversations between Blake and his fans that ensued. Other than the throwaway replies from the football clueless who just agreed with Blake, actual football fans (both men and women) either offered great football savvy retorts, offered their descriptions of how bad Tebow sucks, asked if Blake was drunk or suggested he could play in Houston or Cleveland.

Blake, while we cannot figure out why you’re so backlogged in your NFL watching that you’re four seasons behind, we are so thankful that you took to Twitter to express your frustrations and interacted with your fans.
