If there’s one thing Blake Shelton does not like, it is being bored.

So on the night of Jan. 30, he decided he would go out to a bar and sing some tunes, with the coolest part being that he has invited his millions of Twitter followers to check the pop-up concert out.

Only problem is the Alabama bar only had space for 1,300 people.

Here’s how this went down.

Being as Blake has been spending a lot of time with his new lady friend Gwen Stefani as of late, he hasn’t been spending much time with his online friends.  Because while love is grand, it seems the bug to do something else has finally gotten to good ole Blake.

And being as Blake loves Twitter so much, he picked up his phone on the morning of Jan. 30 and started playing with his followers, teasing them at first.

Almost as if on cue, his followers started freaking out, offering guesses as to what he was talking about and it wasn’t long until they started to figure it out.

He was in the mood for a pop-up show!

Within minutes the Twitter universe converged on the Iron City Club in Birmingham as Blake announced that in less than 10 hours he’d be playing a surprise show at the club

Something tells us Blake won’t have a hard time finding a drinking buddy or two — or a thousand for that matter.
