On May 13, Blake Shelton guest-starred on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
And, while we’re used to seeing silly banter being played out between Blake and Adam Levine on NBC’s “The Voice,” the comical chemistry between the country crooner and the show host is absolute hilarity.
Partnering up for a game of Charades, the buddies took on English actor, Kit Harrington and Aussie actress, Rose Byrne.
And, it appeared that the boys needed to step up their game against their opponents after Rose somehow managed to guess Kit’s very subtle finger gesture, which represented Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Blake and Jimmy spent their turn bickering and throwing shots at each another.
“I don’t know if you’re going to get this,” says Jimmy who had to act out “Cats”, “Don’t you live on a ranch or something like that? All of your friends are, like animals.” To his response Blake quipped, “You can’t even change a flat tire, don’t talk to real men like that.”
Needless to say, the buzzer went off before Jimmy even had a chance to act out the word.
When it came time for the “Honey Bee” star to pull a card of his own, Jimmy unleashed a few more jokes on the Oklahoma native. Of course, Blake had his own prerogative and cheated by putting the card back in place to pick a new one.
The ribbing between the two continued right until the moment that Blake performed “Came Here to Forget” from his upcoming album, “If I’m Honest.”
The album drops on May 20 — one week from today.
