Blake Shelton is out as ACM host and you won’t believe who Luke Bryan just announced will take his spot facebook

Earlier this week, Luke Bryan was bummed.

After his longtime ACM Awards co-host Blake Shelton announced on his Twitter page that he was backing out of hosting this year’s award’s show (), Bryan was left to do nothing but cry in his beer.

“I’ll tell ya what I really need,” he tells a mystery bartender. “(I need) a new co-host for the ACM Awards. Somebody that loves country music, somebody that I’m a little better lookin’ than — kinda like last year. [Somebody] who wants to dance, sing, party in Vegas. There’s gotta be somebody out there.”

Well, look no further Luke.

Dierks Bentley just walked in.

“I’ve been looking for a sign all day, and then you walk into the bar,” Bryan says to Bentley in the video message. “What are you doing April 3?”

Announced via video on Dierks Bentley’s various social media channels on Dec. 15, it looks like Bentley will be Bryan’s co-host at the 51st Annual ACM Awards.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be joining my friend Luke Bryan to co-host the 51st ACM – Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2016,” Bentley stated on his socials.

So what do you think country music fans? Did the ACM Awards make the right choice? We want to hear from you!
