Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are so comfortable with their public displays of affection.

But, when the country crooner’s not with his special lady, he swoons over her like a teenage boy with a big crush.

And, it’s so cute!

Ever since Gwen launched her 2016 This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, Blake’s been on hand for many stops to sing the couple’s co-penned duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” But, he’s still trying to fathom everything that has happened between the lovebirds so far. Gwen literally continues to flatter him!

“It’s weird to hear [Gwen] say, ‘This next song I’m going to do is going to be about a cowboy,’” Blake tells Extra’s Renee Bargh. “It’s like, ‘What? I can’t believe that. It’s so crazy!’”

Earlier this year, both Gwen and Blake put out new albums. Blake released “If I’m Honest,” while Gwen dropped “This Is What the Truth Feels Like.” And, many of the tracks on both records have been inspired by their blissful relationship.

“You’ve got to pull from your real life experiences,” said Blake. “In my case, it’s something that happened last year, which is kind of what my entire album is based on… I don’t think I set out to go ‘Oh, I’ve got to have so many songs about Gwen on the record.’ I just wanted to sing about things that I was feeling and thinking about at that moment.”

That’s a similar approach to how Gwen came up with her record, which still surprises Blake to this day. He can’t believe the No Doubt frontwoman wrote songs about the two of them.

“It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around it,” said Blake, “you know, of Gwen Stefani having written songs that I know are about us, and me!”

Blake is currently prepping for his upcoming tour, which begins with a two-night stint in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Sept 9-10 and ends with back-to-back shows in Brooklyn, New York on Oct. 7-8.

Former “The Voice” contestant RaeLynn will join him on the trek. As for Gwen making a few appearances, Blake says, “I hope so…. I’m not too proud to beg.”
