There is no doubt that Blake Shelton is in love not only with the beautiful Gwen Stefani, but also with her three kids. Although Blake has no children of his own, he looks at his happiest when he is with the boys that Gwen shares with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale — Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.

“We have so much fun,” Blake said in a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “I don’t think you should be able to have that much fun. It’s probably illegal in California.”

This happiness seems to point toward this question then — does the 41-year-old Blake see himself and Gwen, 48, having more kids?

“Nice try,” Blake laughed loudly. “Nice try.”

Blake did admit though that he has felt a bit of a paternal instinct in recent years.

“I don’t know,” he said. “I think ‘The Voice’ sparked that in me, if anything, early on and I just kind of rolled with it.”

In the same interview, Blake spoke out about his buddy Luke Bryan’s recent announcement that he is going to be on “American Idol.” “I’m sure that the executives at ABC are really pissed at me right now for what they probably had to pay him to get him on that show,” he said. “Luke Bryan is not cheap.”
