Blake Shelton made a few comments about Donald Trump in a “Billboard” article and found himself getting some political pushback from a TV star.

In the piece, Blake didn’t endorse Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump for president, but he did say, “I will tell you this: Whether you love him or hate him, [Trump] says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don’t always have to be so afraid. A lot of people are pulling for him, no matter how much Hollywood fights it. I see people who don’t like him go and beat up people that do like him. You tell me, who’s crazy here?”

Blake went on to say he probably wished there was another option besides Hillary or Donald.

That’s when “Will and Grace” star Debra Messing chimed in asking Blake’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, to convince Blake not to vote for “the person who will strip you of your rights.” That tweet has now been deleted, but “Entertainment Weekly” wrote it down before Debra deleted it.

Blake then clarified on Twitter that he didn’t endorse anyone for president.

Debra wrote, “OK — I regret commenting. My passions got the better of me. Sorry.”
