Before we get into the details of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s Super Bowl trip, can we just talk about how gorgeous Gwen looks all the time?
She never misses the mark—even when they’re just hopping a private plane to head to Minneapolis for the Super Bowl.
That trip was a family affair for the beloved couple—and their extended family, too. The private plane was loaded with snacks and kids and Blake in a scarf, because, well, Minnesota is freezing.
He is a hoot, even when he’s not even trying.
The trip wasn’t all just play. There was some work involved for Gwen, who was closing out a big week of Super Bowl shows from scores of stars with a performance Club Nomadic, part of the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.
The Chainsmokers, Ellie Goulding and DJ Kygo, and our boys Florida Georgia Line also performed at the club during the weekend.
But you know, wherever “Shefani” goes, it’s always a party.
Gwen was even kind enough to post video on her Instagram from rehearsals so we could get an up close and personal look at what goes into one of her shows!
But Gwen wasn’t the only one giving us a sneak peek. Her backup dancer, Jason Facey, was sharing all the goodness from behind the scenes, confirming this whole entourage may be the best in show biz.
“Love their relationship,” Jason captioned a video of Blake and Gwen dueting together during the show. Join the club, Jason! We do, too.
It’s easy to see how he and Blake get along so well. What a fun family unit!
And, of course, they did take the time to actually attend the big game before Gwen’s concert.
You can see how Gwen’s three sons are totally into it. We just want to know who everyone was rooting for!
We know one thing for certain: Blake is always going to be rooting for the Arizona Cardinals, whether they’re in the game or not. They’re his team, and he’s loyal to the end.
When he caught up with “Sunday Night Football” for a quick on-camera chat during the madness, he made a pretty bold prediction …
“To Kirk Cousins, if he’s watching out there, we want you in Arizona,” Blake boldly declared to the Washington Redskins player. “We want you in Arizona to be the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. I’m calling it right now! We’ll be in this game next year with Larry Fitzgerald, David Johnson, Patrick Peterson … come on Kurt Cousins, do it! And watch ‘The Voice,’ also Kirk!”
For the love of all things, Kirk, watch “The Voice!”
A new season of “The Voice” premieres Monday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. (ET) on NBC.
