While the 2016 Billboard Music Awards are underway, one star-studded couple claims they’re just not quite ready yet to hit the stage in Las Vegas for their performance.

And that couple is Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Together, the lovebirds are slated to perform their new duet, “Go Ahead And Break My Heart,” the No. 9 cut off of Blake’s forthcoming album, “If I’m Honest,” due out May 20.

But in all honesty, Gwen says the pair hasn’t even begun practicing yet.

“We probably should,” she told “Entertainment Tonight” during KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Of course, the twosome still has some time to brush up on their harmonies though before the Sin City show. Either way, we don’t expect that they will break our hearts on this one. After all, Shefani did give a rather smashing performance when they debuted it live on an episode of NBC’s “The Voice” on May 9.

“It was amazing doing that song live. It’s incredible,” said Gwen. “Any time I’ve ever collaborated with anyone it’s always my favorite. But to do something with him, because he’s so talented, and he comes from such a different world to make music together, it was so shocking!”

You can catch the 2016 BBMAs when they air live from MGM’s Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22, 2016 on ABC at 8 p.m.ET/5 p.m. PT.
