Alan Jackson, Randy Travis and more don the finest designer duds in this hot new photo shoot Twitter/@GQStyle

Put your faded jeans, baseball caps and dusty cowboy boots away—they won’t be needed on this brand-new photo shoot with some of country’s biggest stars and icons.

Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, Chris Stapleton and many more stars teamed up with GQ magazine to play dress-up, and we have to say, we’ve never seen these boys look so sharp!

Let’s start with Randy Travis, who’s been to hell and back in the last several years after being sidelined in 2013 by a severe stroke that left him largely unable to speak or sing. With intense therapy, Randy was able to sing again at his 2016 induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. GQ reports that Randy is not able to communicate well because he suffers from aphasia, which is the loss of ability to understand or express speech as a result of brain damage. But the magazine spoke to his wife Mary, who says there’s very much still a song in his heart.

We can’t get over how handsome and amazing he looks in his GQ photo shoot, wearing an $8,000 leather Ralph Lauren suit.

That’s the Randy we know and love.

And just wait until you see Alan Jackson. Holy moly!

Your mama warned you about cowboys, and one look at Alan in this perfectly tailored brown jacket and cream-colored cowboy hat will remind you why wife Denise Jackson is one lucky lady!

Those boots are one of a kind, and they’re a staple in AJ’s closet. He told GQ, “I’ve got a dozen pairs like this. Back in the early ’90s, I had a lot of custom stuff made. I had a red pair that I wore waterskiing in the ‘Chattahoochee’ video.”

There was no stylist needed for legend Marty Stuart. After all, when your own wardrobe is that fabulous, you’re inspiration for GQ. After all these years, Marty still never ever misses the mark, and he showed up for the shoot with his own clothes.

But we still need to talk about Vince Gill in this $30,000 leather studded coat by Versace.

We know, y’all, that is the price of a brand-new Toyota Camry, but have you ever seen a jacket so gorgeous? And paired with those sunglasses, you know Vince is feeling this entire look.

Chris and Morgane Stapleton look gorgeous together, while Alison Krauss stuns in a massive floral skirt for the shoot.

Dave Cobb, Brent Cobb and Miranda Lambert’s boyfriend, Anderson East, make a devastatingly handsome crew when they’re photographed together (Anderson’s in a fur coat), while iconic songwriter John Prine looks like the sweetest and most stylish, down-to-earth man alive in his own black suit and bolo tie. Margo Price stuns in a powder blue coat and pants by Rosetta Getty, while Jason Isbell and his family pose like pros, too.

And Lyle Lovett is still killing the game in a gold Dolce & Gabbana suit fit for a king.

He told GQ that he used to love suit shopping with his dad. “I wear a suit onstage because I want the people that pay money to come to one of my shows to know that I take their interest seriously and I appreciate it,” he says. “That I think enough of them to clean up and put on clothes for the show.”

If the clothes really do make the man and woman, then these threads make this crop of legends not just country icons, but fashion icons as well. Check out all the photos here.
