If you were lucky enough to check out country music legend Alan Jackson on his just-wrapped spring run of his “25th Anniversary Keepin’ It Country Tour,” chances are that you were lucky to have caught a listen to some of the new songs that he will release on his upcoming album “Angels and Alcohol” on July 17th.
Take for example this stop in Green Bay back in May, where Jackson played an infectious new song called “You Never Know” along with longtime fan favorites such as “Here In The Real World,” Chattahoochee” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.”
“(Alan Jackson is an) artist who knows how to get you with a hook (‘Livin’ on Love,’ ‘Drive’),” stated a music review in the Green Bay Press Gazette. “Jackson’s music is unapologetically grounded in honky-tonk. Pure country in its purest form.”
After a much-deserved yet short break, Jackson will return to the stage on June 20th for the Rock the South music festival in Alabama, followed by shows in Calgary, AB (July 7), the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, CA (July 28), Minnesota State Fair (Aug 30), Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL (Aug 31) and Chasin’ The Sun music festival in Panama City (Sept 26).
