“The performance I’m doing with George Strait is this thing together of two different songs including ‘Remember When’ and the ‘Troubadour’ song,” explained Alan. “We are doing little pieces of it and then they are going to supposedly put a bunch of video stuff behind of the history of country music that kind of goes with these song a little bit, so it’s going to be pretty cool.”

The duet is sure to conclude a great week for Alan, who released his “Precious Memories Collection,” a two-disc album exclusively sold at Walmart, on Oct. 28. The album features two brand-new songs, including “It’s All About Him” and “That’s The Way,” both inspired in part by Alan’s wife, Denise.

“Inspired by Denise’s strength and ability [in writing her book], I sat down and wrote a song of the same title hoping to add musically to an already uplifting story,” Alan said in a press release about the song “It’s All About Him.”
