In case anyone was wondering about the status of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship, Adam Levine is here to set the record straight.

It’s the real deal and, apparently, it’s almost sickening … in a great way, according to Adam.

“People” reports that the Maroon 5 frontman and “The Voice” coach recently stopped by to visit SiriusXM’s Howard Stern, and spilled the beans on his best buddy Blake’s romance with Gwen Stefani.

“They’re so in love it’s disgusting,” he jokingly told Howard.

“It’s so funny. They found each other at really interesting times in their lives. It’s really beautiful.”

Blake and Gwen met on the set of “The Voice,” and began seeing each other not long after their divorces from their respective spouses.

But haters, step off. Adam says all the negative opinions are truly mistaken.

“Because [their relationship] is in the public eye, a lot of people want to have their own bullshit opinions about it, but I’m, like, there,” Adam said. “I see it every day. I have a pretty unique perspective on it, and it’s real, man.”

Adam went on to say that even his own level of PDA with his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, can’t compete with Blake and Gwen.

“I’m so affectionate and gross with my wife—this is a whole other level of vomit,” he told Howard. “They’re so in love. It’s really nice.”

As for Blake’s decision to jump back into a relationship rather than play the field after his divorce, Adam told Howard he wasn’t surprised one bit.

“He’s just not that kind of dude, you know?”

There’s just something about Gwen, not only for Blake, but also for everyone who knows her. Adam said she is “the greatest” and noted that he jokes to Blake, “I still can’t believe you get to be with Gwen Stefani.”

Apparently, the couple kept their relationship super quiet for a long time. Adam said no one in the friend group knew for sure that the two were officially together, even though they suspected it.

Levine went to dinner with the two of them in New York and found out in a pretty awesome way.

“They kissed or something — they did something crazy,” he said. “Imagine if two of your friends who don’t hook up started kissing. It was something that was a giveaway and I was like, ‘I f—ing knew it!’”

Adam swears he doesn’t know anything about a possible engagement ring or future wedding, and we believe him.

We just love seeing Blake happy!
