Sure, it looks like fun to be jet-setting across the globe, taking your music to fans around the world and playing tourist at international destinations. And it is, but it’s also exhausting and, let’s face it … it isn’t home. So, when Lady Antebellum wrapped up its world tour earlier this week, the trio was headed home. Well … two of them were anyway.

The band’s Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie, actually got on a plane and traveled to South Africa! What? Yes, on his Instagram page, Charles shares a photo that his beautiful wife snapped, and says, “Having the most amazing time over in South Africa on safari. This was last night having a sundowner and watching the elephants. I’ll follow up with some animal pics, you know, dogs and cats, stuff like that.”

FYI — a “sundowner” is the British equivalent of our happy hour, and you know London was the last stop on their world tour. Sounds like he’s hanging on to jolly old England, right?

Dave Haywood and his little family headed back home to Nashville after the tour, and they’re getting back to their normal routine, which for them includes morning photo shoots. It looks like this trio is enjoying being a family of three for a bit longer before adding a baby girl to their squad later this year.

Back home for morning photo shoots! ❤️

And speaking of adding to their family, for Hillary Scott it’s go big or go home, and she’s doing both. Expecting twins in February, Hills also headed straight home after the world tour to begin nesting and nourishing those baby girls she’s growing. Yum!

Welcome home, Lady Antebellum!
