When life gets to be too much, isn’t it such a relief just to take it all to God?

Kris Kristofferson’s country classic, “Why Me, Lord,” captures that experience perfectly. It’s just what you need to shake off everything that’s been bothering you this week.

Now, what makes this performance even sweeter is the insane amount of talent singing along with Kris. Reba, Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Hank Williams Jr., Darius Rucker, Jennifer Nettles, Alison Krauss and Martina McBride are just a few of the stars sharing the stage. The clip was taped at the all-star tribute concert to Kris held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on March 16.

Lady Antebellum, Waylon Jennings’ widow Jessi Colter and Emmylou Harris were among the other stars performing at the Kristofferson tribute.

You’ll be able to see the full performance of “Why Me, Lord” and a ton of other performances when the concert airs as a TV special this fall. We’ll keep you posted when further details are announced.
