Lennon & Maisy is a dynamic young country music duo that has reached stardom thanks to not only their undeniable talent, but also their dynamic and heartfelt roles on the TV show “Nashville.”

But they are also teenagers with a mama who ain’t about to put up with any guff.

In a late night post on Lennon & Maisy’s Facebook page on September 8, the duo’s mom. Marylynne Stella of husband-and-wife country duo The Stellas, came straight to her daughters’ fans with a heartfelt message … at first.

“I am the mother of these two beautiful, big-hearted and sensitive girls,” the message begins. “Not only do they show love and compassion to each other … they do to others, always, with no judgment. That’s how we raised them. To love. And they do just that. With their talents aside. We truly couldn’t be prouder of the beauty they possess both inside and out! Thank you to everyone who has chosen to watch these two grow in the eyes of all, showing them love [and] encouragement. They hear you!”

But then, there came the message to the haters.

“To those who feel the need to criticize, bully and parent from your computer,” she continues, “they hear you too, sadly. Please know that we’ve got this. They are wonderfully loving, humble and compassionate girls. The power of positivity is miraculous. Please … with us, love and encourage youth to be strong and beautiful whatever that may look like to them! They need us now more than ever!”
