If you were a kid growing up in the early ’80s, chances are you wanted a red and white Dodge Charger, you wanted to live in the south and you wanted to be cool enough to be friends with two “The Dukes of Hazard” characters named Bo and Luke Duke. But all those memories are just from a television show.

What’s happening to actor Tom Wopat right now is far from cool.

According to “TMZ,” Tom, who played Luke Duke on the beloved show, has been arrested for indecent assault and battery while in Waltham, Massachusetts working on a play. According to reports, Tom supposedly put his hands down the pants of a woman who was working on the production of “42nd Street.”

The arrest took place on August 2 at 10:53 p.m., when the 65-year-old was pulled over in his Ford Bronco by police who had been actively looking for him.

And, of course, the story gets worse from there.

Reports say that a small bag of cocaine was also found on the Tony Award-nominated actor at the time authorities stopped him. And while the coke possession is a misdemeanor, the charges of indecent assault and battery are a much more serious felony.

Our thoughts are with everyone involved in this unfortunate incident.
