She’s one of the greatest singers in the music business, whether she’s singing country, pop, rock or holiday favorites. She’s also one of the funniest people on social media, with a quick wit and a ready funny bone. But bless her heart, Kelly Clarkson has got both hands full, not just with her multi-faceted career, but also with daughter River Rose.

Kelly frequently shares posts on her social media page of her baby girl’s dynamic personality, antics and escapades, but when River Rose was scheduled to join her mom for a press conference, things really went off the rails.

River didn’t show.

It happens from time to time with entertainment divas. In the midst of the glam process, they become overwhelmed with the drama of it all and simply melt down before they make it to the stage. Only River, who just turned 3 in June, didn’t melt down. Not by any stretch!

After hair, makeup and wardrobe, the precious peanut was just too full of joy to be bothered with a mock press conference promoting mom’s new book inspired by the tot, “River Rose and the Magical Christmas.” She simply had to twirl and sing.

It’s all good, though. Kelly shared the news of her new book, and said that she has recorded a complete Christmas song to go with it. Both will be out October 24.

“River Rose and the Magical Christmas” is the followup to her previous children’s book, “River Rose and the Magical Lullaby.”

We can’t wait to see what’s next on the horizon both for the series of books and for River Rose. Oh, and for Kelly, too, who says she’ll have new music out before the end of the year.
