Waiting for a new baby to arrive is excruciating! Who’s with us? Now imagine waiting for two! Add to that being just four years old and not understanding the concept of a 40-week gestation period. Yikes! Fortunately, Eisele Kaye Tyrrell’s very patient parents, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell, are keeping their firstborn plenty busy while they all await the imminent arrival of Eisele’s twin baby sisters.
One thing they’re doing to occupy her time is cultivating that natural talent that the little one has already demonstrated.
Yes, Eisele has already shown us that she is musical. Whether sitting on the porch singing with mom or directing the family in holiday carols, the youngster doesn’t just seem to love music, she has some real innate talent. And now daddy is working on her development as a musician, too.
In a new video that Hillary shared on Instagram, Chris and Eisele sit side-by-side at the family’s piano for a little lesson.
But is it Chopin, Bach or Beethoven? No. In fact, it isn’t even “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” or “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
No, this offspring of incredibly talented musical parents is learning to play Tom Petty’s “Learning to Fly.” And it just seems so darn appropriate and super sweet.
Did you notice how much Eisele looks like Hillary?
We’re coming down the homestretch of Hillary’s pregnancy now. The twin girls are expected to make their debut in February, but multiple births often arrive earlier, so it is possible that they could arrive any day.
Hillary and Chris aren’t just spending quality time with Eisele in her last few days of being an only child. The couple is also spending time and attention on each other, including dining out at Nashville’s swank Kayne Prime restaurant for date night. If they didn’t get the bacon cotton candy and the cream corn brûlée, they need to go back and try it again though. Yum!

Coming up next in the birth bonanza, we believe, is Chris and Morgane Stapleton who are also, coincidentally, expecting twins to add to the two children they already have. The Stapletons have not shared an exact due date, so we aren’t positive when they’ll arrive, but both Morgane and Hillary were sporting noticeable bumps at the CMA Awards held last November, so Morgane can’t be too far behind her friend. Heck, for that matter, knowing the unpredictable nature of multiples, Morgane could beat Hillary to the finish line and hit up labor and delivery first.
But it isn’t a competition. We know that, and obviously Hillary and Morgane do, too. Just let those little buns bake for as long as they need to. We’re waiting patiently.
OK, not so much on the patiently part. Maybe we need piano lessons, too.
