Rising country music star Danielle Bradbery is currently in the midst of reigniting her career thanks to her new single “Sway” and the upcoming release of her sophomore album, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met.” Therefore, it seems quite an awful time for one of the brightest lights of her life to be extinguished.
Yet, that’s what has happened.
“Well … heaven gained an angel this morning,” Danielle wrote in an Instagram post Sept. 24, alongside a photo of herself with a departed family member. “My aunt Linda was one of the funniest and sweetest! She always made everyone laugh no matter what. She gave strong advice, and she was there for all of us any time we needed her. I’ll never stop hearing her call us ‘Mija’ ❤ Love you so much.”

Many country fans were first introduced to Danielle when she won season four of “The Voice” in 2013 as a member of Team Blake [Shelton]. And yes, despite this sad time in her life, it sounds like she will be watching the singing competition show this season.
“That’s a powerful set of coaches,” Danielle says about this season’s team of Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson in a recent interview. “I feel like these contestants are gonna really just be shocked and excited. I would be, I mean, speechless, just to see who’s there and, let alone pick who I want as my coach. Either one, I know Blake and Adam’s been there through day one, but oh my gosh, that’s a powerhouse! I would not know who to pick, but they’re gonna learn a lot, I know that.”
