Kelsea Ballerini just wants everybody to get along.

The country singer, who has always cared for her fans, announced that she is taking a break from Twitter after revealing that she has seen too many negative comments posted on her news feed.

“Can’t even believe I’m having to post this, but my timeline is FILLED with people being so mean to each other,” she tweeted out to her more than 12,000 followers on July 14, “I love my fans so, so much, and am sad to see the hate in these comments to each other. It’s not what I stand for. I just want to make music and [make] people happy. That’s it.”

She then added, “Gonna take a little break from Twitter and refocus on the music.”

While it remains unclear what tweet exactly sent Kelsea over the edge, or whether it was a whole bunch of tweets combined, fans seemed to support her decision to ease off of the social media platform for a while.

“I’m sad that it had to get to this,” one fan wrote, “but I fully support your decision. Things will calm down eventually. Keep doin’ you and spreading love!”

“I support you with my whole heart. And I love you so much,” another fan added.

Clare Bowen, who stars on the CMT television series “Nashville,” also took a moment to stand behind Kelsea’s decision.

“Baby, people who have the spare time to be awful on social media have holes in their souls & need to eat more fiber. You’re wonderful,” she wrote.

We second that, Clare!
