As a former member of the country duo Steel Magnolia, Meghan Linsey is known by many fans for songs such as “Bulletproof,” “Last Night Again” and their top 5 hit, “Keep On Lovin’ You.” But now, the season eight runner-up on “The Voice” looks ready to showcase brand new music … and a brand new side of herself.
In an Instagram post on August 30, Meghan spread the word about a new song being released October 6 titled “Freak 4 the Beat,” along with a brand new pic of Meghan looking mighty hot in a bikini.
The song is a collaboration with Fred Schneider, who serves as the frontman for the B-52s. The new look and the new musical partner seem to spell a new direction for Meghan’s music.
She recently approached fans for help regarding the music video for the song.
“I’m looking for an animator for my next music video,” she wrote in an August 14 Instagram post. “The video will premiere on a major press outlet and features my friend, Fred Schneider from the B-52s! This will be a great platform to have your work seen and build your resume. If interested, please submit examples of your work to email@example.com. Meghan and her team will work personally with the chosen director to create an animated video for the single to be released this fall!”
