A country fan’s guide to the 57th Annual Grammy Awards

Country music will be well represented at the 2015 GRAMMY Awards via exciting nominations and once in a lifetime performances. But as a slew of artists from many musical genres congregate in Los Angeles come Sunday February 8th, it might help to keep an eye out for all of your favorite country music stars.

With four nominations under his ball cap, Eric Church will perform live on the show. Miranda Lambert has also received a coveted performing spot on the show. Yet, the standout performance just might be the collaboration between Dwight Yoakam and “New Artist of the Year” nominee Brandy Clark, who is also nominated for “Best Country Album” for “12 Stories”.  In terms of presenters, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift will all find their way up to the podium to make another person’s dream come true.

But who do we think deserve to come home big winners though in the country music categories? Here are our picks:

Best Country Solo Performance: “Give Me Back My Hometown” – Eric Church

Best Country Duo/Group Performance:  “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s” – Tim McGraw featuring Faith Hill

Best Country Song: “I’m Not Going to Miss You” – Glen Campbell and Julian Raymond (Songwriters)

Best Country Album: “The Way I’m Livin’” – Lee Ann Womack
