A country duo member fills fans in on upcoming wedding YouTube/MeganandLiz

Back in December of 2017, Liz Mace of the country duo Megan & Liz was asked by boyfriend Weston Amick to be his bride during an adorable proposal in a snowy New York City. Now that some weeks have gone by, the happy couple is back on social media and filling fans in on their wedding plans.

And it sounds like the beach wedding they want is well underway!

“We have a venue, we have a date, we have an officiant, we have a bridal party, we have a wedding planner, we have a rough guest list, we have a lot of it figured out for pretty early on in the game,” Weston told fans during a Jan. 14 YouTube Q&A session. “We are pretty early on in the game and we’ve made a lot of the big decisions. I think we are ahead of the game.”

“Neither of us have planned a wedding before,” laughed Liz. “Hopefully it’s the last one we will ever plan. It’s all new to us, and we are like ‘Oh my goodness, what are we doing?’”

Liz, alongside her fraternal twin sister and musical duo partner Megan, was born and raised in Michigan. Together, the siblings have created one of social media’s biggest success stories. In fact, the two have used a mix of music and beauty content to gather a following of more than a million subscribers with more than 240 million video views on their YouTube channel. Back in 2015, Megan & Liz were nominated alongside country artists Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt at the Teen Choice Awards in the “Choice Country Song” category for their tune, “That Ghost.” The two still share a bunch of music on their socials, such as this snippet of a cover they shared recently of Maren Morris’ new crossover hit (and Target ad,) “The Middle.”

But now, Liz seems to have her eyes affixed on her new partner and the love of her life, who doesn’t seem to be able to be any more in love than he already is right now.

“I knew from the beginning that we had something really special,” Weston said in another Q&A on YouTube that was released on Jan. 31. “We were always on the same page with everything. We were crazy about each other since the very beginning.”

So when is all of this going to take place?

“It’s going to be at the beach in Alabama toward the end of the year,” Liz tells her fans. “The date is something that we are going to keep to ourselves. We are going to share just about everything else, but the exact date we are going to keep private.”

We can’t wait to follow their journey to marriage and beyond! We have a feeling its going to be quite the fairy tale.
