A classic Joey+Rory performance surfaces that reminds us love is eternal YouTube Screenshot

Just three years ago, life was so very different for country duo Joey+Rory. Three years ago, their musical career was thriving and their voices were strong and daughter Indiana was just a dream that they held deep in their hearts. Life was simple and sweet and uncomplicated.

And there was no cancer.

What a sweet time that was.

During that year, Joey+Rory stepped onto the Grand Ole Opry stage to sing the song “If I Needed You” alongside daughter Heidi Feek. The love was obvious via multiple glances between the two lovebirds.

Of course, today Joey+Rory find themselves in a much different world filled with medications, goodbyes and uncertainties about the life they have left together as Joey continues her battle with Stage 4 cancer. Yet, recent days have given the couple much to bask in, including the release of their brand-new album, the celebration surrounding Indiana’s 2nd birthday and the elation they felt over simply being nominated for a Grammy in 2016.

But it’s performances like these that they cherish.
